L'Ecurie : “Continuing the history of an emblematic location”

L’Écurie has had a new owner since November 2022. At 35 years old, Damien Gillet decided to take over the management of one of the most prestigious restaurants in the region. With specialised hotel training in the bar and sommelier industry in France, Damien has worked in several well-known French palaces. Then, he moved to Verbier to join the team at the Chalet d’Adrien. This 13-year professional experience allowed him to build an excellent local network and learn about local products. After one year, the restaurant’s success is evident. Interview.

Art & Apéro: 2nd opening of Sabine Fournier's exhibition at VFP

It was around local products that the clients and friends of VFP were able to discover the magnificent works of Sabine Fournier on Friday 17 February. A convivial moment in the heart of Verbier which allowed to associate wine tasting and small fours concocted by the Bakery Michellod and to admire the paintings of a Valaisan artist. Apéritif, petits fours de la Boulangerie Michellod et dégustation de vins, tout en découvrant les oeuvres de l'artiste : une soirée unique qui a regroupé les amis et clients de VFP et de Sabine. Sabine Fournier : l’âme créative et la bonne étoile d’une artiste valaisanne

Une bonne étoile a guidé le parcours artistique de la Valaisanne Sabine Fournier. C’est par les circonstances de la vie et les « hasards » des rencontres qu’elle a pu découvrir cette passion pour la peinture et ce don inné chez elle. Elle n’avait pourtant pas choisi cette voie aux prémices de sa carrière professionnelle.
